How to Watch New Orleans Saints Games Online?

After a postseason riddled with controversy, everyone is ready to watch the New Orleans Saints online. Despite the infamous "Bountygate" scandal, the Saints have managed to regroup, even after the many punishments handed down by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. One thing is for sure though, Mercedes-Benz Superdome will be lonely without the coaching of Sean Payton this season.

The New Orleans Saints definitely have their work cut out for them this year. Their schedule is packed full of teams that are fully capable of giving them a run for their money any given Sunday, especially the 49ers, Green Bay, Kansas City, Dallas, Carolina, and the Giants.

The best news to come out of New Orleans this postseason was the franchise tagging of Drew Brees. The Saints will most assuredly be keeping their championship quarterback for years to come, after shelling out an extra $16 million for Brees this year, and another $23 million to come for the 2013 season. With the absence of Sean Payton, it is up to Drew Brees to unite and lead the broken team this season.

One thing is for sure, the New Orleans Saints have one of the best backfields in the National Football League. Darren Sproles exploded onto the scene last season, arguably be best free-agent pick up in years. Sproles is dangerous because he can line up and play just about anywhere on the field, and return kicks like the best of them. Six-year veteran Pierre Thomas is still more than capable, and first-round draft pick Mark Ingram starts his second year with the Saints and has proven to be a great runner with breakout potential. Ingram averaged just under four yards per carry last season, and had plenty of goal line attempts resulting in five touchdowns for the season - he is sure to see an increased workload this year.

On the receiving front, everything is business as usual with Marques Colston and the fantastic Jimmy Graham poised to shine again this year. Devery Henderson has moved up to WR2, thanks to Robert Meachem's signing with the San Diego Chargers, and Lance Moore sits comfortably as Colston's backup.

Since the Saints' starting cornerback Tracy Porter signed a free-agent deal with the Denver Broncos, third-year veteran Patrick Robinson is set to become the starting CB for New Orleans. All eyes are on Jonathan Vilma, however, as he continues to fight his suspension. It is quite clear that Goodell has made Vilma into a scapegoat, but Vilma isn't going to sink quietly into the mist. It seems like Jonathan Vilma has appeared in court almost every week for the last couple of months as he tries to fight his way back onto the field, after filing a recent restraining order. Currently, he is awaiting the judge's ruling, while she determines whether or not she has the jurisdiction to make such a ruling, even though she is inclined to agree that the NFL's disciplinary process is unfair and the punishment excessive.

Without a doubt, there is plenty of drama left to unfold as you watch the New Orleans Saints online this football season.
